Uniteo is published and operated by the SafeSpace Media association, Rue de la Gare 14, 2830 Courrendlin, Switzerland. Its business identification number is CHE-230.366.234. The general, legal and data protection contact is info@uniteo.org.
The association is represented in accordance with its articles of association and the applicable signing powers. The offices of president and vice-president do not, by this notice alone, confer individual signing authority or powers different from those provided for in the articles of association.
Uniteo is the name of the service. It does not designate a legal entity separate from SafeSpace Media. Stating the UID does not constitute a declaration of liability for VAT.
2. Purpose of Uniteo
Uniteo makes it easier to discover churches, gatherings and Christian content. Depending on the features actually available, the platform allows people to view information, listen to podcasts, follow publications and use personal tools or tools for church teams.
Its vision is to bring people and communities closer together: grow together in faith, serve with love. People and churches welcome, share, discern and decide. The tools are at their service.
Browsing, creating an account or following a church does not constitute membership of SafeSpace Media, a church or a denomination. The procedures and conditions specific to each community remain separate.
Presentation pages may refer to features in preparation. Their description does not mean that they are already enabled. The scope of paid services is defined in the offer and contractual documents provided before subscription.
3. Hosting and technical providers
Hosting of the website, its databases, files and backups is entrusted to Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Genève, Switzerland. Barnabé's artificial intelligence features also use the services of Infomaniak Network SA.
The mailboxes used for Uniteo are hosted by Hostpoint AG, referred to as Hostpoint SA on its French-language website, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland.
The privacy policy specifies the data concerned, the roles of these providers and the distinctions between storage, processing and external disclosures. Sending an email or opening an external service may involve other operators, including those used by the correspondent.
4. Publications and editorial responsibility
SafeSpace Media is responsible for content that it publishes itself. Churches, organisers and contributors are responsible for the information and content they provide, within the limits of applicable law and without excluding SafeSpace Media's own obligations.
The presence of a church, a speaker or content does not constitute general certification of their organisation, practices or all their positions. Times, locations and participation conditions may change: check the organiser's latest information before travelling.
Responsibility for a particular publication is assessed according to the role actually performed. Information about the person responsible for a publication is provided or published when required by applicable law, particularly under media obligations. The association's representation under its articles and editorial responsibility must not be confused.
5. Barnabé and illustrations
Barnabé is an assistant based on artificial intelligence, restricted to people aged 18 and over. It is not a spiritual authority and does not speak on behalf of God, a church or a leader. Its suggestions do not replace human support and may be inaccurate or unsuitable.
Important sources, quotations and results must be checked. Publications prepared with its assistance remain subject to appropriate human approval. The terms of use and privacy policy specify the limits of the service and the processing of exchanges.
The illustrations of Barnabé and the illustrated scenes serve presentation and educational purposes. They are not testimonials from real people or evidence of a partnership or an achieved result. Some illustrations are created with the assistance of AI tools.
6. Intellectual property
Texts, recordings, photographs, illustrations, distinctive signs and other content may be protected by copyright, related rights, personality rights or other rights. These rights belong to SafeSpace Media or the relevant right holders.
The availability of content does not amount to general permission to reproduce, modify, redistribute or commercially exploit it. Uses permitted by law, expressly stated licences and the sharing features provided remain applicable.
A podcast or video may involve several rights: those of the author of the message, performers, the producer, the photographer and holders of rights in the music or texts used. Permission applicable to an in-person worship service does not necessarily cover its distribution on the Internet.
Names, logos and characters identifying Uniteo may not be used in a way that creates confusion about the origin of a service, a partnership or endorsement by SafeSpace Media.
7. Links and external services
Uniteo may provide links to church websites, organisers, listening platforms or social networks. Their operators are responsible for their own services and apply their own terms and policies.
A link does not mean that SafeSpace Media endorses all the content of the external service. When a problem is reported to us, we examine the situation and take measures appropriate to our role and the circumstances.
8. Reporting an error or infringement of rights
Write to info@uniteo.org, giving the exact page address or content reference, the nature of the problem and any information useful for checking it. State the capacity in which you act if you represent another person, and provide a way for us to reply.
Do not send unnecessary sensitive supporting documents. We may request clarification, contact the contributor, correct information or take an appropriate measure. The terms of use describe the reporting and review procedure.
9. Applicable documents
The privacy policy describes the processing of personal data. The terms of use govern services and contributions. Paid services for churches and processing carried out on their instructions are covered by appropriate specific documents.
